I had to work today...sucked.....didn't do anything but waste time. I was late for watching kickoff (Saints win...YAAY!!!) But....what do I find when I walk out to the car??? A GIANT F#$%ING DENT IN MY DOOR!!!!! It is windy today, and some chode-licking homo door dinged the living shit outta me!!!! I dropped my soda....which blew up because it was unopened...and stared with my jaw hanging down...And the bastard didn't even leave a note. What a prick.... /rant.
Ugh, had the same thing happen to me when I'd had the Charger six months. Only it was a tiny hitch-ball sized dent. Funny thing was, earlier that week I'd wondered why someone in a tiny little RAV-4 would need a hitch-ball. After all, its a RAV-4. No note, nothing. Made me sick when they told me they had to basically take apart the rear end to replace/fix/paint the thing. *sigh* Hope the insurance takes care of you quick like mine did.
Really pisses me off seeing how some people out here don't give a crap about their, much less other people's rides!
That sucks! It seems like on the whole people don't have any respect for others and there stuff anymore.
We have Fix A Dent here...pretty simple and cost effective. I've never understood how/why people don't care about vehicles the way I do.
Sorry to hear about your ding Jeff. If you're headed to the Spring Festival, there is a really good Paintless Dent Repair guy in Huntington Beach that I've used. He owns a Magnum and is a member over on lxforums. He did a great job on a ding that was on my hood (BIG pine cone hit it in high wind).
This is why i keep my truck out of parking lots...My 1990 Bronco II has so many parking lot dings I wouldnt even notice a new one..
Man, I hate that for you... I, too, have a small door ding right over my real fender well from some "asshat"!!! I gotta take me to a "dent wizard" too!
About 6 years ago we had an Alfa 156 SW that was mint, some crackhead SMASHED it in the parking lot, the whole rear fender, rim and both doors on drivers side. The drivers door still worked but the rest didn´t, broken glass and silverpaint all over and not even a note! The other driver must have had some serious damage on their own car! It sucks bigtime!!! Nowadays we allways park on the far end of a parking lot and diagonally, taking two places therefore avoiding nutheads. I was once asked by a woman why I parked like that and for once got the line at once telling her that she´d just answered her own question... Fredrik
