I need to run a 16 gauge wire from the engine compartment into the cab, is there an easy way to route this through the firewall?

I'd rather not come around the door jamb because there doesn't seem to be a good place to hide the wire and I don't want it just hanging there.

Right under the Master Cylinder is where a wiring harness boot can be found.

Use a coat hanger as your fish line to feed it into the car with ease.

There is also the boot for the hood release cable. It starts out inside the car about an inch diameter. On the other side of the firewall it tapers down around the cable. If you just slit the boot back a bit there is plenty of room. I ran my wideband cable through there with the plastic sheathing on it.

hang on, I might even have a pic of it... I do, but they're pretty bad. In the second pic you can see it pretty well. It's the bottom one and you can just see the plastic sheathed cable going into it.
