Today was another DRP Mod Day at BMC. His show poster was in the trunk, so we set it up for some laughs. (1) Moroso coolant tank we had powder coated black. We also put on some black braided lines with black fittings for the top and rear overflow lines. Installed ... (2) Upgraded motor mounts. One of the factory mounts went bad so we upgraded to the 6-speed Challenger mounts which are a better design. New on the left, old on the right ... Installed ... (3) Upgraded the negative battery ground cables to much larger ones, and here are some pics of the old vs. new ... Cable 1 ... Cable 2 ...
It was really quick and easy. Just use a screw jack (or floor jack without a lift) to hold up the oil pan a tad and swap out one at a time.
