Last weekend we installed the new CRAGAR cat-back exhaust system on our Challenger R/T and took pics along the way. Once the stock exhaust is removed, this is a simple installation, with excellent instructions. Special thanks to Jeff at CRAGAR for the system, and it sure does sound great!!

Here is the entire system, pre-installation.

    INSTALLATION:

First the x-pipe that replaces your suitcase muffler go on.

Then another set of pipes that lead to the mufflers.

    Followed by the polished mufflers.

Next the resonator pipes go on.

I re-used my factory tips, which are adjustable on a ball/socket type joint, but CRAGAR tips will be sent for each system as well.

    Thanks, CRAGAR!!

Wonder what that sounds like or costs? Looks really nice tho...

I see on their website they have a twin turbo for the SRT8 too now... what?? I wonder if this is a repackaged STS system.

    That would be awesome.

What's the internal construction of the center mufflers, is it a perforated straight-thru pipe with sound absorbing material packed in there or is it some kind of baffled system?

Lotsa rumble in there even at idle; quite an aggressive sounding exhaust.
