That is moving!!! And speaking of moving -time for me to go down later this week to pick up my engine. transmission, driveshaft, supercharger, and all the other parts from my car. I plan on calling BMC tomorrow so I can get the hauler down to pick up my car ASAP. I hope to have everything at Mr. Norms Garage by January 11th.

Well, I picked up my parts yesterday from BMC. It was 13 full boxes plus engine, transmission, braces, shroud, ect, ect. They pulled the switches , the nitrous bottles, and every part they could possibly take off. Literally a whole F250 load. Why would you remove trunk mounted empty nitrous bottles to ship my car? Or interior switches? They did not even install the plug to fix the leaky transmission which leaked out over the entire bed of my pickup. My car shipped out today from BMC as well.

BUT... Today I dropped off all my 13 boxes of parts plus engine, trans, ect. at Mr Norms Garage and hopefully car will be there today as well. They are REALLY GOOD PEOPLE. IF YOU ARE DOING A BUILD THEY WOULD DO A FIRST CLASS JOB.

Must have seen at least 35 or more cars -any one of which most of us would LOVE to SEE, much less drive or own. There were beautiful cars lined up. Saw the black monster that ran 9.3X, the yellow cuda convert, and so many others. Every time I go there I find myself some new cars to dream about. It is exciting. I am one happy camper that I have an opportunity to work with them on this project.

Rather than brood over parting ways with BMC - it was amicable - I look forward to making this project even better working with Mr. Norms Garage!!!!

It is cold in Florida today but my heart is warm after spending time at Mr. Norms!!

Awesome! You deserve it to say the least. You are by far a way more patient man then myself and a better one at that. I really don't think i could have endured the trials and tribulations you have been exposed to.
Can't wait to see the machine ready to roll. From the tree that is!!

Cannot say as far as having a car, but would definitely like to go and meet Bill Schurr of Paramount Performance after all the work he put into parts for my project. Also any other of the various forum members.

Went to Mr. Norms today. They plan on getting into my build in a few more weeks as they had previous commitments prior to my bringing them my car. They feel making Camarofest5 is probably a reasonable goal. They will be making some changes and once we get all the parts sorted out will clarify our direction. I'm still very excited to be working with Mr. Norms on my project!!!!

I plan to show just what the 2.9L whipple can do on these cars and I've got a team at Mr. Norms who can do that and who are GREAT PEOPLE!!!!

Went up there today and the new intercooler is already on the engine. We discussed some issues on how things were done. I'm shocked at the lousy work that was done on my car. Like brackets saw cut and not even deburred. Things installed with wire ties. Joints butted together that do not fit. But thankfully Mr. Norms is doing things the right way and I'm on track again!:bigwink:

When I stood next to the engine with the new SFI bellhousing and transmission installed properly my heart really was beating faster. My joy of working with Mr. Norms is beyond words!!!! I feel very lucky. Everyone there loves cars and it shows. And we all know a little LOVE can make something even more special!!!

Mr, Norms sent me a few engine pics today! Tim will be here next week so will finally get this engine started. I went out and bought a video camcorder to record the long awaited event.
The pics show the 8 rib setup (minus two idlers being made) and the last one shows the SFI bellhousing.
