I want a minor drop, but dont want to spend $1300+ for C/Os. Looking at H&R Sport Springs. They were one of the best choices for the Mustangs I used to work on. They claim to lower the SRT8 Charger 1.7" up front and 1.4" out back. I have an '08 w/ the Bilsteins front and rear. Will the OEM shocks and struts be OK with those springs?

Lowering any car with just springs will lead to early shock/strut failure. The OEM parts are not designed for the lowered ride height and reduced suspension travel. That's why coil-overs designed for the application are a better option.

You can do springs and save the cash up front, but you'll be putting new shocks and struts on sooner too so you'll be spending those savings sooner too...
