Yes, you read it right, DRP is going to hit the track soon, so I figured I'd start a thread so everyone can encourage him (and be sure we hold him to it)! In a week we'll be getting his car track-ready with a couple new mods: valve body, axles, LSD and some drag radials of course! I think he's planning to run n/a initially to get some times on just motor and test out the new set-up, but we'll encourage him to get the juices flowing soon, too! We still need to get some ZEX dyno numbers and check the tune on the new motor, so that will all take place in the near future as well. Since I haven't been able to race for over 7 months and have a bit yet to wait before I hit the track again (with a car seat next time, hah!) I am excited to have a local BMC car to represent! I'll post pics and keep this updated! Whoohoo for DRP!!
LOL..... maybe. Its something I have always wanted to do and since I bought a Ram Pickup for my Daily Driver, I was ready to race. I never wanted to drag my car when having to rely on it to get me from A to B
Yeah now that you have a spare vehicle it is a great time to hit the track. I don't blame you for not racing prior ... but the time is approaching.
yep, just bolted on drag radials, torque converter and a 100 shot on stock axles....nothing to worry about
