Well first things first, I want FORGED! but the problem is, the wheels I want are not offered forged. I have had my mind set on these rims since the first time I saw them on a Magnum. My question to USW is could they make me an forged copy of these wheels with the correct offset for my MSRT8. Staggered, 22X9 & 22X11 with brushed finish like in the pic below. KMC Nova's
Those are nice looking wheels! I've pretty much given up on different wheels for my Mag SRT; never found a choice for the MSRT that I liked!
To me the nova wheels look like a retro version of the magnum 500 wheels. Other then the Nova wheels I like the way the 08 option/challenger rims look on the magnum.
with the forged centers that they make there multi-piece wheels out of now the spoke could not be flat. they are working on a forged one-piece wheel that might be able to get the look you want.
Im looking for a one piece, I've never liked wheels with all the little bolts like you see with the three piece. I've decided against so many wheels I liked because of that.
Not in a big hurry Ron, the Life insurance check from my Mom's passing won't clear for a few more days. Just trying to get all my options narrowed down soon because I need some new tires in the front. Just gotta make sure I get the right size! I've been looking for a set of challenger wheels, but the only ones im finding are on ebay for $2k+. For that price I'll get the ones I really want!
Hey Jon! as Ralph said, we will be working on a line of 20" and 22" concave 1pc forged wheels that will be available mid spring along with modular rivetless wheels and will have a different profile than what we currently offer (pictures coming soon). no doubt biz and the usw team will come through for you jon!!!! as you know jon, my legmaker wheels were something i would have never given up.......... until i saw the usw offerings!!! can honestly say they are the best wheels i have ever owned!!! whats even nicer, their customer service (read bismarc) is amazing!!!! how many wheel companies give you the opportunity to design new wheels or will do custom stuff to individualize you wheels like this??
No, that's not what he said. Like Ralph said, they can't do it right now because their forged wheels are 2-piece wheels with a spoke profile that curves back (making the huge lip). Bismarc said that they will be making a 20" and 22" forged one piece wheel soon that would work for what you're interested in. Or they'll also have a new multi-piece design that will NOT have the rivets you don't like and the spoke profile will be different, so that might work for you too. So he said you'll have 2 options to have them done, but they'll be new products so they're a few months out.
well Chris, when I first read his post (and still) it seemed to me like he was trying to sell me on an upcoming product. Not actually the wheels Im looking for. I can only assume that they are not equipped to do a one piece wheel at the moment and are going to be able to by mid spring?
i think he is just informing you that they do not currently make a one piece wheel under the USW forged name. as far as i know there is only one company currently making a true forged one piece. all we can do is tell you that it is not in production as of yet. if we don't has it yet then it is not there to sell you on.
