How are you changing compression mill/gasket?...lower or higher? I would assume lower and run more boost, but i hate to assume anything with Eddie being involved. ;)

maybe slightly bit lower and boost a little bit more. depends on piston selection.

If you want slightly bit lower, just get a thicker head gasket.

Looked at MLS cometics in varying thickness. Wondering about minute changes in geometry with thicker gaskets and what if anything that does to the whole cam/pushrod/rocker/valve motion. Maybe not too much, but figured I'd see what's available in piston size to achieve compression relief. May keep it 10.3.

Are you keeping the same cam or changing that up as well?

Going from .040 to .060 or w/e you choose isn't going to mess with the geometry of the valve train to much. I would sure try that before spending 1k on pistons. At 10.3, you should be okay at 10 PSI with proper tune.

I was thinking the .082, i think that's the thickness. Its a good opportunity to upgrade and change rings, but yes, not the cheapest.

Pony express dropped off a box today.... Maybe I can start filling that hole in my engine bay now...Thanks to SHR and Arrington for such a quick turnaround on the new Mahle pistons. Dookie, nice to speak with you. Thanks in advance for the belts.
