The drive belt that Techco uses is a tad too small, so when replacing, it takes some serious leverage to get the belt to fit. Top that off with Cam's shims (to level the snout) fix, it is that much worse. lol Keep in mind, this is more for the bigger boost folks (8 - 10 psi). Anywho, I have been working with Dookie (Kyle) on having larger belts made as that is what Kyle does. hehe So this morning UPS delivers my package from Kyle. The UPS driver rang the door bell and it took me a bit to get to the door, and the driver was already back in his truck after leaving the package on my door step. As I opened the door, I looked over to the driver to say thank you, but the driver was already looking in my direction giving me a strange look while chuckling. I was a bit confused, but said thanks, picked up the package, and went back in the house (fricking cold out haha). Well now I am understanding the "Look" and "Chuckle" coming from the UPS guy... After seeing that written on the package I broke out in laughter. rotglmfao Good ol SRT/C humor. lol You are AWESOME Kyle. Well after 15 minutes of LMAO, I was finally able to open the package. This is what was included... WOW! Kyle, you are the best, brotha. I can not thank you enough. Back to the belts. In the next few weeks I will be test fitting both belts. They are of different size, so I want to see which is easier to replace. Stay tuned, and if these belts work out, as I KNOW they will, you can order these directly from Dookie. Thanks again, Kyle.
Glad it got their in one piece. I was LMAO while packaging it, thinking..."You know, i bet i make 100's of people smile with this on its trip to Ron"...I just couldn't help myself, and to add insult to injury...it was written with a PINK Sharpy. Let us know how they work out, and which length works the best for you... P.S. I received my package as well...thanks Ron!
Thats a great joke, a friend of mine wrote "Cocaine" on a bankcheck he sent me... Hope the belts work out fine! Fredrik
I already have the belt number that works, no drive pulley removal, no ATI balancer removal.....just idler pulley removal.....NAPA....$28.00....... It is definately a funny box though!
These belts are made by Bando USA in USA http://www.bandousa.com/ They are all black in color and about half price compared to local auto parts stores. Once Ron determines which one will work best, i'll post the part number (generic to the industry) and you can source them wherever you want to. It doesn't matter to me if you buy them from me or not...but, if you do, i'll take good care of you and make sure you get what you ordered in the time it was promised to you. I do not own the company i work for (Allied Bearing & Supply, Inc.) I am the Branch Manager.
you know...... so is mine and i never realized it until scott said something to me.....:dumb: soooooo kyle, if a guy needed a 6 rib, heavy duty, all black, 114.5 belt, do you know someone that could help a brother out???? lol i have the fugly green napa one that was listed as a 114, but something about stretch factor made it the right one for me..... i guess??? i do know that baby don't slip at all!!! who ron???? whenever he moves off of mt. everest....... racing in his neck of the woods is fruitless!!! lol
cool beans brother!!! looking to have at the very least, a spare to carry with me in the car at all times!!! lol
lol Mt Everset isn't the problem. We have a very nice track here. My problem is this "Change" we have been promised. So far I don't have any change to fix issues... lol But then again, moving out of this nose bleed section is right around the corner.
