the Skittle is on its way to recovery and will be on the road soon again. Ive been working on it as i can but with a day off every other weekend its been hard and the holidays didnt help either. im shooting for begining to mid feb to be back on the road. futures plans are to put a cage in and reinforce everything and make it a Track car. I cant wait to get it back in those fast corners and spinning around and catching air again. ive missed driving this car so much.

I thought the come-a-long was downtown. We always just used the chain and then you drive the car away from it.

LOL i would drive away from it if i weren't in base housing. plus its just 18ga metal so i didnt wanna over stretch it. just a little at a time is what i was after. even then i still went 1/2in too far back. lol

I still gotta go 2" down on the floor and trunk latch. im not going for perfection, just function. I have tail lights also and when i get the bumper and trunk to line up then i'll work on the mounts for the lights and will be good to go.

update: i had a misfiring issue i was playing with and turns out that i had a bad coilpack (105K mi) and swapped it out for a Granatelli and no problems.

last pics showed i had all the seats, carpet, and plastic trim out. what i didnt pull out quite yet was the roof lining. this past weekend i pulled that out aswell as put in my old APC seat and harness which i borrowed from my broken POS mustang LOL and threw back in the neon since i had gave my old blue sweed seats and harness to mario and took his stocker. the last thing i need to pull out is the door pannels. future plans is a cage for the event i end up rolling this sucker while playing in dirt ha ha. just unsure if i should finish the trunk/bumper or cage first.

LOL true but breathing in exhaust fumes while driving is another reason why im thinking of finishing it first. i have so many holes drilled in the trunk flooring just from streching the back end out that exhaust is all i smell when driving.

Helmet, O2 bottle and a mask. You'll be able to race longer.
