LMI (LegMakerIntakes) specializes in REAL CARBON FIBER cold air intakes of various designs and applications. What will seperate LMI from the million other intake offerings to choose from will be price point, quality, and most of all the unique fabrication process that allows intake tubes with smooth finishes inside AND out!!! No other CF intakes are made like these!! All intakes are made in-house, by me. With close to 20 years of working with composite materials in the prosthetic industry, I have taken my knowledge in fabricating with composites to the LX/LY world. There is no middle man to deal with, no suppliers to compromise quality. These are intakes made for the LX/LY community by a member of the community!!!

There will not be any wild HP claims or claims of ground breaking original designs by NASA, but rather good looking, realistic performing cold air intakes at unbelievable prices!!! Lets face it, a CAI is not rocket science.

Just a few of the products LMI will offer to the LX/LY platform:

Fender mount TRUE CAI for both stock and 90mm tb.
"Frankentake" III & IV style CAI for both stock and 90mm tb.
"Hammer" design CAI for both stock and 90mm tb. This is my version of the famous original Air Hammer, with the consent of the originator!!
    CAI for Whipple S/C applications
    3.5 & 2.7 V6 CAI

Intakes kits feature S&B Filters, T-bolt clamps, hi-temp rubber or silicon couplers, Oil breather filters, and IAT extension harnesses where applicable.

And if you want the unusual....... like a funnel intake for your direct drive mounted procharger F1R supercharger putting out close to 1000rwhp, I got you covered!!

Good for you Chris! Knowing the precision that goes into producing prosthetics, I'm certain these are of the highest quality.

If you have a Charger SRT8 (like yours....sort of....lol) Do you have ot remove the brake duct for the fender mount CAI?

yes. ideally i like to be able to get as much direct flow into the filter as i can. the filter will fit with the duct in place, but it is a VERY tight fit, with the filter pushing down on the duct more than i like. again, i am not doing anything that any other fender mounted system hasn't done, other than offer it in CF. most all of the others that put the filter in the fender, that i am familiar with, remove the brake duct.

Glad you have finally come out of the CAI closet, Chris.

I can attest to the quality of LMI's CAI's as I have witnessed first hand the manufacturing process and QA inspection.

We wish you nothing but success, Chris.
