So this year's been a ride. Worked out my budget considering my income is gone and considering there's only room for basic service and like one maybe two trips to the car wash per MONTH... I need to get down to business and work out some goals and finish 'em with a vengeance.

I just completed my big goal of setting up a separate study area/work space in a corner in the bedroom, so when Marc's home or Madeline's asleep I have a quiet place to study and do homework. Yay!

Next up is to make the apartment look less like a storage locker/stockade and more like a living space and to maximize the room for Madeline to run wild without worrying about what she'll get into next. Easier to just deal with the crap she repeatedly gets into than to try and constantly defend it from her.

After that, start on the garage, the storage spaces, so on and so forth. I'm SO sick of clutter and unused space and dust and cardboard boxes and storage containers. Enough already.

So, I figure all this effort will result in more productive study time, less to clean up, happier baby, calmer husband and less frustrated me. The end goal is to wrap up school the end of next year, graduate early 2011 and at least start looking for work in 2011, even if I can't do much while Madeline's still too young to start school full time.

And the result of going back to work and making money?? Having spare funds to modify the Charger and go back to doing track days on weekends and going to big meet and greets and maybe maybe maybe getting a Challenger, all though more and more I'm eyeballing AMGs. Maybe a nice lil' SL something something. Anyway...

Yes, I'm boring and yes I'm a frickin' housewife! Deal!

    1. Remind Katelynn daily how truly amazing she is and how important she is to me. (I do this every year but its a good habit to have)
    2. Set aside more time for some charitable work.
    3. Make a choice, stay in my current house for another 5 years, or buy some land and build a house.
    4. Start making my own knives (hobby)
    5. Get out more and work on my photography

The Challenger is sweet and all, but truly its basically my Charger with a different exterior and fewer doors and really its a bit of a pig compared to my true love, a 1971 Challenger with a Hemi. So I've already got the same car but I can actually carry my daughter around in it and not cry if it gets a little dinged (less collector value than the Challengers). An AMG would be a purely "Mommy's car!" that I could drive to work and take out to the track and that's if I'm getting paid boatloads. If I had my druthers and piles of cash, I'd have a modest sized house instead of an apartment and a very very huge detached garage filled to the brim with all my dream cars ('68 Charger, '71 Challenger, '69 Coronet, an AMG or two). Oh and a nice road course for a back yard. :magic:

Yeah yeah yeah. I'm just saying the AMGs look like fun. Any time I look at a car for the first time, I'm thinking about how it'd do at Willow Springs (The big track). Which by the way I got to go around riding shotgun in a primer gray superbird clone after going several laps in my Charger. So ha!!

I'm not giving up my Charger for anything and the Mercedes would just be a secondary car and bleh, I'm done defending it. They look bad ass and shiny and like they'd be fun on a track and I'm just talking in terms of what I could reasonably afford. Again, woulda coulda shoulda, yeah a McLaren and a garage full of Mopars.

I'm going back to my Guinness now... :D

    haha...Im just messin with ya!

I am JEALOUS about the SUPERBIRD though! THE 1969 HEMI DAYTONA is my 1st choice...The 1970 HEMI SUPERBIRD is a close 2nd! .....since we're dreaming!

as for a track car.....i'd like a TT VIPER please....
