New Vortech Maxflow Race Bypass Upgrade Kit - LX, LC 5.7L, 6.1L

We are excited to announce the release of the new Maxflow Race Bypass upgrade kit from Vortech! This new bypass valve upgrade is a direct bolt-on to the Vortech V-3 HEMI supercharging system, (using existing sleeves, clamps and bypass signal hose), replacing the standard bypass valve. It's perfect for those owners seeking maximum horsepower through an increase in boost pressure.

The Maxflow Bypass Valve improves supercharger operation by opening to relieve unwanted pressure during deceleration. Flow is rated at 320 CFM at 8 PSIG and the valve is preset to open at 4-5 inches of vacuum.

The kit includes an aluminum discharge tube with welded bypass flange mount, Maxflow Race Bypass Valve with gasket and mounting hardware plus a bypass discharge filter.

That's the one the Vortech kit should have come with. Nice that you're making/sourcing the pipe with the flange.

 

thats the same one that the old gsm kits came with....... i am still running it now.... worked great when i was at 6lbs..... a touch slow now that i am running 9lbs. pretty good price for all that is included!

Loved my Vortech maxflow bypass and REALLY love it's bigger brother the MONDO!

 

How does this work on a standard setup, does it just look good.

 

For what your doing, its not necessary. This is really designed for the higher psi apps that some of us are running. To this point vortechs BOV was fairly inadequate for anything beyond the 6psi setup. that lead to many of us getting aftermarket ones like the TiAL that me and adam are running.

I dont think theres any harm in you getting one of these if you really wanted but its not needed....

Is there enough room for another bypass to be mounted on the opposite side of the pipe from the existing bypass?
That would double your flow capabilities.

I've run this Maxflow up to 22 psi on my Mustang, so this has high boost capabilities!

 

i woulda gone with this one if it was out! haha
