Quick someone call Al Gore and fill him in... If you folks in Tx are getting this... imagine what is happening north of you in the central plains and upper midwest.. maybe you will have a white Christmas...
Yeah, global warming...it warmed up today and the rare 10" Dec snow we got last week started melting.....
It's just sad watching all those Texans running around trying to make snow balls before it hits the ground...
No kidding and instead of Wal-Mart being packed with last minute gift buyers they were buying up all the canned food items and water were gonna be trapped in our homes until that white stuff is gone:bye:
That sure was looking windy.... was nice for awhile today, sun was out and 56 degrees but only last a couple of hours... then got cloudy and dropped into the 40's really quick... It is supposed to rain here all of Christmas day!
I moved the dogs into the garage for the night it's in the 20's with high winds, the temp guage in the garage reads 55 so they will be just fine, laid out some extra carpet I had in the attic they were out in 10 minutes just like babies.
4" here....(OF SNOW!) and -5* C. Empty parking lots are a blast for playing around. Reverse 360's in the front wheel drive minivan and ebrake slides! Car is nestled in the warm garage. And normally, it's -20* celcius with atleast 2 feet of snow.I am glad i sole my MXZ 700 ski-doo.Not even any snow drifts to jump,no tracks are open yet(snow cross). Very rare! There is usually sled drags on the frozen lake by now. Miss sledding but my face dont! I rolled the machine end over end at around 40mph.Cruising through a big wide ditch and did not see a huge dug out coming at me, and nailed the far side of the dug out with the front ski's and i sent the machine end over end and i have no clue which way i went. All i know is got up, pool of blood in my helmut, on the ground and the machine was about 30' away from me with one bent ski and cracked hood. I had a broken nose from the helmut. What a ride home afterwards! Here is what the ski doo looked like,
ya,it snowed for like 10 minutes here in AUSTIN on Christmas eve while I took the wifey on her little shopping spree. WINDY AS HELL! Then 10 minutes later the sun was back out and it warmed back up. Christmas day was nice,So I BBQ'd! haha LOVE IT HERE! YALL CAN KEEP that 10" crap up there! These people here DON'T know how to drive when it RAINS,much less SNOWs or SLEETS!
