So, I email autometer with an issue with my wideband. the issue was one line was out on the digital # display.... My gauge is CLEARLY out of warranty...and what do they do they sent me an entire new gauge lol.... as in...i sent in just the gauge itself...they sent me out a whole setup, wires, sensors everything.... bad freakin ass
yes Steve, they are straight awesome. Way back in 06 when I torched my first motor (Lol) we thought that the Wide Band was at fault. I sent them mine, the tried very hard to prove that it was faulty and they were ready to cut a check for a new motor. Alas the wide band was good. They sent me a new kit instead of sending the old one back. How cool is that? Very cool!
yeah they were pretty badass about the entire thing.... from the min i contacted them till now... they got me the new gauge pretty quick too...and i didnt ask for "expedited service" which would have gotten me the gauge back within 2 days of them receiving it
yup. While I was dealing with Autometer, the owner, yes, the owner called me on several occasions to fill me in on what his engineers were finding. That right there sold me on how great customer service is with AM...
what sold me was when i asked "how much it was going to cost since i was out of warranty" and the girl i was dealing with goes...."nothing...its our product that has the issue...we will fix it" i will be purchasing from them for any future gauge needs haha
yeah.... you can check their lineup http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugesize.aspx?sid=1&opid=4 the "competition series" is black faced...along with some others...including some CF ones....
