Hey everyone, I'm the newest of the new guys. Nice to type to you all, I was referred here by a few members of this site. My name is Chris, I own a 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 Canadian 500 edition. So far I have added an Aria Carbon Fiber intake, Corsa Exhaust, 180 Degree thermostat, and a Billet tech catch can. Also had it custom tuned with my predator from a local guy, so I can say I am putting 397 RWHP out running on 91 octane. And for a visual look I had the windows tinted (within legal limits). Future things I plan on doing is a Kenne Bell twin screw supercharger, changing out the rear end to the 09 Getrag LSD, new rims, and beefing up the transmission.
Welcome to the "C", Chris. Sounds like you are well on your way with the mod bug... haha How about some car porn?
Heeeeeeeyyyyyy! Glad you made it over chris! Really wicked people here and cars! Just gotta watch ron and cam. They get friendly fast! LMAO! :friends: Chris is a fellow "MBLX" member for those who watched the video, along with Black08Chally(steve) and JoeCool(joe).
Welcome from a FOUR MAGNUM family in North Carolina! Great looking Challenger SRT; what is the 500 edition all about? (Never heard of that!)
When they built the 08's the production run was for 6900 Challengers. 6400 were destined for sale in the USA while the remaining 500 stayed in Canada. The US editions were given individual production numbers on the passenger side dash plaque, while the Canadian ones were badged as a Canadian 500 Limited Edition. Also the Canadian ones got the 500 Grill badge while the US ones had the SRT grill badge. Not sure if the US editions also got the factory build plaque, but the Canadian ones did.
WOW, I never heard of that! I think that is VERY cool and YOU, my friend have a real "rare" car!!! Congrats; I love it!!!
Thanks, I love her. Something I noticed the other day when I was cleaning her, the production date is the exact same date that my Mother passed away....kinda freaky but awesome all at the same time.
Hahahaha......I never asked ron. I figured i would find out sooner or later! Whew, tough crowd here tonight! lol Ron, this is from penny......:huglove: "thanks for the shirt"
