It just took me 9 hrs to drive 370 miles home from Atco.I followed the freezing rain from northern Jersey all the way to Saratoga NY and then it turned to snow for the last 150 miles. It wasn't the HP that made it scary,it wasn't the 4k rpm stall or the RSA's that made it scary......it was the downshifts and upshifts on the transmission that had me on the ege of my seat for the whole trip!

Any of you that have a Paramount Performance or SHR transmission or valve body and use the car in the snow be very, very careful. The downshift WILL break the tires loose in the snow and ice.In drive is the worst because you are not ready for it.
Now I don't plan on driving my car in the snow this winter but I got stuck in the storm driving home and how I didn't wind up in a ditch is a mystery to me.

WOW, glad you made it home safe... KNOW the weather up there for sure... I lived in Lake George New York for Two years!!! I also lived all over NY, Seneca Falls, Waterloo, Owego, Newark Valley, Vestal ~ all near Binghamton. And was born in Cortland... right in the middle of the snow belt. I don't miss SNOW!!!

Glad you made it home in one piece, Erik.

And it's not limited to having the mentioned tranny's and VB's. Yea, happened to me last month when driving home from SoCal. Caught up to a bad snow storm... lol I even had to stop and put my wipers back on. lol

We to have alot of snow up here. I live in winnipeg,manitoba.canada(4 hours north of fargo north dakota). I tried to use our SRT last year in november and that did not go over well. I ended up buying a minivan 1 week after the first storm. We were stuck in our driveway! Snow and freezing rain is one thing but the bitter cold we get(tonight with the wind chill it's going down to -41* celcius) is brutal on cars or anything. I found out last year that our SRT has no block heater either. So i figured its better to just park the car from NOV till april and drive around a mini van. Dont want to wreck the car, the van dont care so much about! Your right though, it's not fun when you really like your vehicle!
