This isn't exactly just an LX question.
There should be a 6.1L enigne thread...

    Anyway...

Has anyone seen a solid roller cam available for a GEN 3 6.1L+ engine yet?

I don't seem to have noticed one available yet. The rpm gains would be nice to see + HP/TQ capablities.

I believe Jessel already has a rocker available.
But a little bit of headwork required to mount.

Theyt are about $2600 raceers net.
Aslo from what iI understand normal valve covers won't fit. I think they have to be deeper. That us why I was hpoing that BT wodl take thid into consideration when They made their first set.

Since the rockers are out (sort of), I was wondering where the cam/lifters were?

i guess you could call jessel and see if they are planing on making the lifters. the last time i talked to them there was no real plan to put these into production.

It is just like the development of programmers for our engines. In the begining the mfgs did not see enough demand. But we changed that.

Someoe is going to have to "drive the industry" to put these engines into full race production.
I was hoping the release of the drag pack cars would instigate this.
