Figured cant hurt to have the catch can plus they make it in red which will match my strut bar and Bwoody intake:aggressive:

They have very nice stuff. I just ordered a bunch of UNnecessary bling for under the hood. They seem like great people to deal with.

Wheat they are great to work with, I bought tons of stuff from them when I had the Hemi Truck and they always stood by their stuff and unlike some Vendors never charge you until they actually ship the product

Im really leaning towards getting one mostly for engine protection and also for the bling.

Wouldn't the oil stay extra hot mounted off the strut bar like the BT one and wouldn't one want to mount it in more of a remote location where the overflow can cool?

No the oil is going to get a lot hotter inside the engine, than it is on the strut bar

I dont no how much those cost but we made ours up when i had the srt-4. As we needed them when turbo boost was applied and total cost for the oil catch can (air compressor water and oil trap from sears) and hoses n clamps cost bout 50 buxs. It had 3/8 inlets n outlets.

I get that. I don't know if I'll ever do this mod to either ride though. I'm still not sold that this is necessary at all.

This what I got out of mine after 200 miles......just imagine after 1000. Also if you ever install phenolic spacers your manifold and head intake ports will be covered in oil.

I remember that in one of the SRT Engineer Q&A (not on the Jeep, maybe Charger) That someone asked about using a catch can and the engineer answer that they should not be used

Anybody remember reading that and what would be the reason behind that answer?
