    Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
I am thankful that I haven't lost all sanity for putting up with Ron for nearly 16 years!!!:rofl2: Hahahaha just kidding!

I am thankful for Ron, my family and friends, that I woke up this morning, that I have a roof over my head that retains heat, and that I have an oven that works.... I could go on!!!

I've always liked this time of year. The changing season and preparations for Christmas and the New Year. But my favorite has always been Thanksgiving. I find it somewhat mentally relaxing to pause and think about the past year and the many blessings that we have. Not one to look at everything through rose colored glasses, but I do think that too many times we get caught up in all the negativity and other challenges we have in life to pause and think about the good things and good people we cross paths with almost every day. Whether someone we know and love or a stranger we may never see again in our journey of life. This year I can continue to count my blessings for my family and the many good things that have happened this year.

I truly hope the Holiday Season brings many good things to everyone here on the Connection! Again Safe travels to all here on the Connection as you visit your families and friends over the next few weeks.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Its been one tough year for me with ups and downs... hill after hill. I'm thankful for having a wonderful wife, a caring/loving family, a great support of friends, and being part of this community.

I'm thankful that my life is not nearly as bad as it could be.

My daughter is constantly proving what a little miracle she is and growing up fast in spite of her rough start in life. My husband has managed to find another job that while not exactly what he likes, he's able to handle. We'll actually be able to get through this rough financial patch without having to dip into savings, borrow more money or skip bills. My issues with brain fog, weight-loss and exhaustion are apparently thyroid-related and treatable and the thing in my neck probably isn't cancer. I've got just a year left of school. I've got a roof over my head and food on the table and well, things are alright. Can't ask for a lot more than that. :)
