The meaning is you get 50 smiles per gallon... Doesn't look like much but people will ask you at a traffic light "How does that thing get 50 MILES per gallon" and you get to correct them telling them it's SMILES per gallon... There are a few forum members who have them on their car and it's worth a good laugh.
