So ive read that the safest NOS shot is a 100hp. Its prettyy much a no worry shot for our 6.1L, i assume. For anyone running a 100 shot what is your RWHP or anyone running NOS, what are your RWHP numbers? Is a $1000 about a fair price for the unit and installation? Thats what i was told from another member.
A 100 shot is a safe shot if you plan on runnign without a tune, however we have lots of members here running 125, 150, 175 shots etc with no issues...you will want to adjust your tune and maybe run some higher octane for a larger shot to be safe. As far as the kit 1k is a great price for the kit and everything you need...plugs, purge, gauge, heater etc. We actually have a great package for $999 available that includes everything you need. That's a great deal and will have everything you need. Just used the manufacturer's recommended jets and you won't have any issues. IMO, I wouldn't waste money on a window switch. They seem to be more hassle than they are worth. Everybody I've talked to with one has ended up pulling them off. Just set it up off the TPS and hit the button when you want it to hit. I'm running a 250 shot and don't even use a window switch.
