Joined a local car club (Deep South Mopar Car Club) about a month ago and they found out about a car show at McKenny Dodge in Gastonia, NC and two chapters of our club showed up... the Charlotte Chapter and the Upstate South Carolina Chapter! I believe the dealer was shocked at the attendance; around 100, I think! Great mixture of OLD and NEW Mopars! We had an awesome time and it was the first time I actually got to meet the members!! Wow nice turn out. If I had been home in Virginia I would of come out, but I'm down in Texas right now. When driving around I always feel a connection with the other Mopar drivers and make it a point if I see any fellow Mopar driver broke down on the side of the road. To atleast stop and ask if they need help
That would have been GREAT. At most of our cruise-in's we have mostly older hot rods... can't seem to get the LX crowd interested ?????
