    Hey guys,

Many of you may be familiar with the flat black charger we built for the Spring Festival back in March. It's back for more. We're pulling it apart and going a bit crazier. We're setting this car up for road racing more than straight line, but it'll be a hybrid. I'll be updating the posts with pics, but wanted to start sharing some photos along the way.... We've been working on the 6-speed conversion and it's going pretty smoothly. Not without some small hiccups along the way, but what project doesn't? Many of these parts are custom fabricated parts done here at the shop. Some are one-off, some will be or are a part of our product line. Here's a few starter pics and again, we'll be updating through the whole build. Below is a list of everything that will be going into the car through the winter.♦ I'm sure we'll be adding more to the list as we move forward.

Here's a couple (before) pics. This is what it looked like last time we completed it. We actually finished it after a 8 month build in March of this year, but this is what it looked like before we just took it all apart.

    Updated pics

We're back at it with "Big Ed"

Here are some more pics. We've been cutting, welding, configuring wiring, the shifter location, etc. It's rolling along.

Finally, a Charger with 3 pedals...

We've done what we can with the dash in, now it's time to take the dash out.

Measure once, cut twice? Something like that...

    Having a little fun.

Time to start cutting and welding.

Now to adapt the shifter, fab a new tunnel and configure ESP/BRAIN locations.

    How are you handling tuning?
Are you planning on a "Kit" offering for the TR6060?

We're moving along. Just finished the mock up of our interior mount for the shifter. Now we'll finish welding it and getting it ready for testing. For now we've thrown together a stock 6.1L with clutch and tranny. As soon as we get through tricking the ECU and bypassing the TCM, we'll try and throw it in gear, let the clutch out a bit and see if we're on track. If not, back to the boards. We'll get it...

Haha, when you're working on your own car the labor and fabrication is free!
