Dyno Tuned Performance and Kelley Performance will be doing another monster HP LX. This build will consist of: HHP/BES low comp 426, Stage 2 D-1 Procharger, Paramount trans/convertor, Full fuel system, Quaife, Level 5 axles, gauges, etc. Shooting for 820rwhp. Parts ordering began yesterday, if everything comes in on time we will be doing this build at the end of Oct. We'll post info as the job progresses.
820 RWHP on 93 OCtane or Race Gas? How much is it driven on the street? Has the owner ever driven a 750+ RWHP car on the street.... I ask cause I do and it isn't the best DD..... BTW ... it is easier to keep people's interest and keep them informed with one thread to keep all the info in one place instead of 3 or 4 threads.
I hear you, but wasn't sure how many people go on our DTP vendor forums, so I figured do Forced Induction and regional, along with ours.
Hey Red, Look inside the quote box on my response. All your answers are under each question. BTW, you live in my old stomping grounds, I lived in Augusta for 14 years when I was younger...I'm sure it's changed a lot.
Well, now the customer has decided that he wants the car to make a 1000WHP. So now, we'll be adding a dual bottle nitrous setup to the stroker/supercharger combo. Parts are rolling in everyday, pretty much just waiting on Fore to get the fuel hats wrapped up and we'll finally be able to get this project underway.
this car will probably never see the track...but Batman may use it. LOL You have to see the car to understand the last comment.
Why build a 1000 RWHP car for no track use.... you can't use Nitrous on the street or even have it hooked up?
whoa! 800+ hp one just a stroker and a d1sc? If you can do it (which I do not doubt you can) you will be one of the few that can on that supercharger.
We just finished an 09 Chally with a 426 LC stroker and a D-1sc with only 12psi...made 720rwhp. This one will have a Stg 2 D-1sc with 17psi, which should put us just over 800rwhp.
I made about that on a Ford 392 and a d1-sc, with a crap ton of cam and ungodly flowed heads and a very aggressive tune. So no doubt you will get your goal, just not many people can keep the d1-sc in one piece for long at those power level... LOL
