SRT/C, I have been searching / waiting to see the first listing of an 09 Super Bee. Was really curious to find out what small changes, if any, did Chrysler do to the 2009. I noticed two right away and I'm sure a few more will show later. No Red Brembo calipers....using Silver. Second...no more 08 year roof whip antenna. They went back to the nub for the satellite radio. It is definitely interesting....IMHO - the orange is ok...still liking the 08 B-5 Blue the best so far. Something else I just noticed....heard rumor of it but was not quite sure. I have been told they were not going to make the standard 1000 Bee's for 09; well here is the fact: BRAND NEW 2009 DODGE CHARGER SRT8 SUPERBEE LIMITED EDITION #70 OF 450 BUILT Wow...talk about being hard to get ahold of one.
Yea, I notice the 450 total as well. The stereo looks like the 06/07 Nav unit. Wonder if they deleted the My Gig head unit and that is why they have the nub antenna instead of the whip?
I just have to add because there is a great pic of it here. DC dropped the ball on all the SRT-8 wheels by putting ALCOA FORGED in them! I mean WTF are you kidding me?
im sure they wanted them to look diff than the R/T wheels. to make sure people knew they were indeed forged. i dont mind them at all.
I agree fully with DRKNESS on this one...what`s wrong with Alcoa forged being on the wheel? I have these wheels and love them...i have had Several sets of $5000.00 wheels and they all had their name on em and these Alcoa wheels are better quality. They are one peice forged....not 2 or 3 peice like sum Asanti`s i have had. When you get a multiple peice wheel you have to worry about bending the barrels constantly....not with a one peice wheel!
I tend towards liking unbranded stuff. Always nice to have an option to have it or not. Kinda like white letters in or out on tires... I'm not a fan of the "Alcoa Forged"
They also charged to rear end from the german made trac-lok to limited slip. The german made rear end has a problem when it is cold outside locking up when you try and make a turn in reverse. They do have an additive that helps it somewhat.
HO Superbee Actually, there are 425 built not 450. Other changes were the rear badging and fuel door decal cut. B5 and HO are sweet colors, but Detenator Yellow is still the best
I have one with full Kooks long tube , corsa cat back ,mopar cold air, 180 tstat and tune if any one is looking for one!:happy: and yes only 425 made! oh yes and viper clones 22's
