Hope everyone is having fun, being safe and getting lotsa loot!!! We had a small party for family and our trick-or-treaters...complete with Jason ghost. Hal even stopped by to give me some new stickers, since Ron sent me broken ones...:bigwink: We almost lost baby tonight...she got attacked by a giant spider. it looked kinda radio active...
Cool attack of the giant glowing purple spider! Madeline was Red Riding Hood. Though she kept trying to conquer people's households when they offered her candy. Maybe a pirate next year.. And Marc and I did the Trek thing.
Nope...it rained most of the night. Not that my kids cared...they still dragged me out to go trick-or-treating. Plus we had like 6 or more bags of candy that didn't get given out, due to the lack of other coming around. My kids will be on a sugar high probably all the way to thanksgiving now! Maddy looks really cute...but what I want to know is who's the Trekie? Your costumes look better than we managed...my youngest son wanted to be Jason, with a glow in the dark skeleton shirt...which translated into him running around with just shorts and the T-shirt. ('cause caring the fake machete was too much work, and I don't even think he wore the mask)...and my oldest son decided he was going to dress up as a trash bag. Needless to say, I didn't take many costume pics this year. :bag:
We got the shirt and dress at costume stores, though it was hard finding something smaller than XL. Looking at the pictures I think I might actually be a small. Anyway, we had the shoes/boots already. Marc got some new Dockers and I got some tights and put on some make up and put some stuff in my hair to make it extra shiny/sci-fi looking and tada. I used to want to get all elaborate for halloween, but now its more about comfort and functionality. Still, it was interesting trying to drive the SRT with high heels and a short dress. Just glad I drove at night so no hooting and hollering from truckers.
