Hello, I am new here so I hope I'm not asking a question that has been touched on before. I have a 09 Challenger SRT thats mostly stock. I have read on sites that people are changing out the TB to get rid of a hesitation. I only have 1300 miles on the car so far(little over month old) and haven't felt a hesitation. If I was to replace the TB I feel without head and cam work that 85mm or 87mm would be all that I would need. My real question is do I need this mod, if so which size is best with stock heads and cam, and who makes the better TB? I have a CAI, catch can, 180 T-stat, and will be doing a predator tune very soon(just got tuner yesterday). Thanks ahead of time.

Is a TB going to do much of anything for you without at least heads and cam?
Tip-in is mostly a tune thing right?

What is this hesitation you speak of? Shift? Throttle response?

What do you plan on doing as far as future mods? This will dictate what you should or should not get now (will save you money in the long run).

If you are not experiencing what others are, then you probably do not need to waste money on something that really is not needed (at this time)...

Alot of folks feel a slight hesitation...this is due to the throttle by wire. The Diablo tune does help fix this and a larger or ported TB definitely helps throttle response as well.

If you aren't experiencing it than I wouldn't worry about it and have fun with your new ride!

My next mod will be a sprint booster... it's supposed to stop the hesitation.
    Has anyone tried that?
