can I, run a vortech, with my stock bottom end, and not have an issue? if so, how much boost can you throw at a stock motor .. also, with that amount of boost, what kinda hp gains can I see? keep in mind my car has 60k on it and bolt on mods, custom tune .. thanks!
The Vortech systems (with their tune) are intended to run on stock engines, and Vortech even offers an optional 3yr/36k mile drivetrain warranty as their set-up is very reliable. The kit is 5-6 psi and Kris has been running it for over 20k daily driver miles without an issue, and he is still running the Vortech provided tune. Typically, 480rwhp on an SRT with no other mods, using the Vortech tune.
is vortech gonna come up wit a different design besides all that tubing that they are curently running?
Doubtful. Vortech prefers the air/water intercooling vs. air to air. In the Hemi engine bay there isn't much room to place the aftercooler elsewhere. That said it works great! With a Centri style S/C you are always going to have tubing somewhere.
