You will be amazed at how easy the stat change is - no sealer, no gaskets...if it takes you longer than 15 min. to do it, turn in your SRT and give your tools away!!!
errr, there is a gasket (no sealer required). No one mentioned that. Some new t-stats come with a gasket and some don't (I think the Jet does. The 4128 does not.). It's a gasket where the lip of the t-stat fits in the groove. If your t-stat doesn't come with a gasket be careful not to damage the old one if you pry it out with a screw driver or something.
