Read the thread for more information...

Here is the people who have are in on the GB http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?p=320187#post320187

    First

Ok I meet with Casey (roadracingSRT) today and his fine piece of American made product. We then went to K-Sport to check out the diggs and take a look at the suspension.

I found out a few things for this to happen.

    ok here we go...

They can make a system for the Cherokee

The front of the system will be a standard coil-over suspension

The rear is a little bit of a quandary, There is not enough room to have the standard coil-over because it will hit the rear tire, plus the angle of the rear shock. The solution is to mount the spring in the stock location with a adjustment perch just like you would have on the coil-over but moved to the standard spring location. I would give a 3" adjustment. The shock would be replaced by the damper which is adjustable, but the way it mounts to the chassis the adjustment would be in accessible to adjust and you would have to loosen the dampener and swing it down, adjust it and then reinstall it.

There is a solution to this by upgrading to the circuit pro at an additional 1K+ in price so I said no thanks.

The whole system would give the end user a 0-3" adjustment (est) on ride height along with the Rebound/dampening. It would all bolt into the stock location with out any need to drill holes or modify anything.

It will be 45 days from K-sport I am going to add 15 because I know how life goes before we get any product, it has to be sent out to the factory to be made and then shipped.

    Ok now Brass tacks

I have to purchase 10 kits to make this happen, I will sell each one of those kits for $1,400 each.

I have a minimum of 10 opening's for people that want this you will be required to put a deposit down of $400 and pay the remaining $1,000.00 before the product will be shipped out. I have spent all day crunching numbers to make this happen I hope I have not wasted my time.

If the deal does not happen for some reason you will be refunded all your money...

Thats the deal I can get you, you can ask Casey he was at the warehouse and the quality is top notch.

    SECOND!!!

We did dry fit an aefis onto the SRT today and it looks like we might be able to make it work with a little changing on the SRT and R/T we also found out that the half covers we have fit also and when I get Casey's jeep here I will do some more fitment for some other parts.

Rad cover and some other goodies I have in mind...

OK let me know who is in and who is not

I think more would be interested that are using lowering springs rather than stock replacement. That would be a good deal if the coilovers would replace the springs also.

Would this be front and rear or just front?

The coil-overs replace the coil and shock in one shot they would go in place of the shock and just remove the coil. Its how they do it on the G-35/37 350/370Z same set up. This way it allows you the ability to adjust the dampening, rebound and ride height all in one shot!

It completely adjustable so if you want a little lift its there, a little lower DONE! and if you want to drag that bad boy then the suspension can be set up for it.

    Kontrol Pro Damper System
Ksport Kontrol Pro Fully Adjustable Coilover Kits provide the ultimate in suspension technology for your street or track car. 36 levels of dampening adjustment allow you to fine tune the ride to your handling and comfort needs. The dampening adjusts compression and rebound simultaneously for ease of adjustment. Pillow ball top mounts in the front and rear on some applications allow you to maintain vehicle manufacturer suspension geometry design. The pillow ball top mounts also allow you a more direct feel for solid driver response. Camber adjustability is included on pillow ball top mounts that allow it for the ability to adjust camber from the actual coilover, instead of a separate camber kit.

Most applications utilize an adjustable lower mount, which means you adjust height without losing suspension travel like some other coilover designs do. With the mounts and most pieces of the coilover being designed for 6061 billet aluminum the kit is lightweight, durable, and rust resistant. The steel shock body is electroplated with zinc to resist rust and the elements. The valving of each set is matched to the springs installed for unmatched ride quality and reliability.

The Ksport system uses a Monotube design in which the oil and gas are separated within the cylinder. When compared to twin tube designs the Monotube dissipates heat better, allows finer dampening adjustments, and requires more expensive design process. Aeration and cavatation are a lot less common in a Monotube design, which results in a better ride.

The Ksport Kontrol Pro Coilover kit has been designed with professional road racing in mind offering extremely high value and performance.

It would be all four corners I have not looked into springs but I understand from the people I talk to that its a hit and miss with springs. You would have to remove/cut your bumpstops, but to get 36 way adjustment would be nice.

Like I said I have been asked by a few people about this so I asked and can make it happen.

I think there are springs out there already but no true coil-overs.

I have known the owner of K-sport for over 3 years and I have used his products in several builds I have done one was a 240 SX that I ran a 10.99 in with this suspension. That car was 450 rwhp+ and was a daily driver with ac/stereo etc... I softened the suspension in back and hit 10.99!

The product is top notch and I would rank it up there with Pedders, KW, Penske, etc... Like I said I was asked to put this together that's all so if it goes then it does if not then hey we tried.

Yes, there are lowering springs out there already. But no shocks to accommodate them. Also, there are no after market shocks available to replace the stockers.
So you are gonna have 2 markets.
    1. Those who want to lower there Jeeps. (about 1" front, 1.7" rear)
    2. Those who are going to need to replace their worn out stockers and want an alternative.

There is a guy on another forum already trying to come up with a shock for those with lowering springs. I will direct him here if you like.

Cool yes we can get all the market then they dont make shocks but they do make coil-overs as their specialty...we will see where it goes and I really appreciate your input on this...

K-Sport FTW. The SRT4 guys love them.

I actually assisted Mains in installing his K-Sports on his Skittle. Very nice quality.

Great merger, George. Let me know when K-Sport comes up with their version for the LX platform.

Awesome! I registered on this site just for this thread. haha I saw it posted on another jeep forum I frequent and I must say I am extremely interested in this opportunity. I know there are a lot of guys that would be interested as well as there have been numerous threads on the issue.

I hope we can round them all up!

Glad I saw this thread as well...I will take a set once they are ready for the general public.

As mentioned I am 1 of those that would like to lower the Jeep but also want the performance adjustability as well

Sounds like right now we need a Jeep in AZ for a couple of weeks...somebody step up

    http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16031

Well I need the Jeep for a few thing One the coil-overs and to fit a prototype intake.

I was a K-Sport today an dthey will make them but I need a vehicle to make surte we can do what we need.

I also need to know if the suspension is the same for the Jeep with a 3.5/5.7/6.1 and the only differance is spring rate.

So have someone contact me and lets get this rocking.
