As we get older we sometimes begin to doubt our ability to "make a difference" in the world. It is at these times that our hopes are boosted by the remarkable achievements of other "seniors" who have found the courage to take on challenges that would make many of us wither. Harold Sclumberg is such a person. VERY INSPIRING! I've often been asked, 'What do you old folks do now that you're retired'? Well..I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, and one of the things I enjoy most is turning beer, wine, Scotch, and margaritas into urine. And I'm pretty damn good at it, too!!
Why doesn't my wife UNDERSTAND how waking up with a hangover is so easily offset by pouring 5 or 6 beers and a little tomato juice into the 300 oz. MiniMart cup you save just for that purpose? So what if the clock reads 9:26 am.
New rule in my hose is if McDonalds is serving from the breakfast menu, i'm not allowed a beer. Woman can be such buzz killers.
I didn't say it, but its still funny and applicable here. "So Jesus turned water into wine. Big deal, I turned an entire student loan into Natty Light. Your move holy man."
What... you waiting for the sun to go down to clean your ride? Or are you already ready to go? Lol...
I'm at work. I have about 3 hours of cleaning to do after I get to LA at 9. So maybe 3 hours of sleep tonight if I'm lucky.
