THIS IS FROM DAVID AT PML, LOCATED IN SOCAL: http://www.yourcovers.com/newproducts.htm

Dana Super 44/226 Rear Differential Cover

Fits GC SRT8 and other Chrysler and Dodge models such as the Chrysler 300C and Dodge Magnum. Cover has10 bolts.
We have purchased stock covers for a Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee SRT8. We are determining customer interest and looking at design issues. If you have one of these vehicles and are local to the Los Angeles area, we would like to see the cover on the vehicle. Or if you're not local to Los Angeles but would like to help us out with pictures and measurements, please contact us at [email protected] or 800-335-4345.
Thanks to those who have responded.

THEY MAKE DIFF COVERS AND TRANNY PAN COVER THAT HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO REDUCE HEAT IN THOSE CRITICAL AREAS. I HAVE SPOKE TO BOB AT MOES WHO IS A PML DEALER TO START A PRE-BUY LIST (PRICE NOT KNOWN YET) OR JUST A "I WOULD BUY IF THEY MADE ONE" LIST.

Yeah they make great stuff had one on the truck (rear diff) they have a fill plug, drain plug and level monitor plug so takes all the hard work out when needing servicing here is the tranny pan cover I had on the truck they will even tap for a drain plug or for a sending unit to monitor temps

I talk to Dave today and gave him both the 6.1 & 5.7 diff covers and a trans pan (Thanks CTP). This one will take some planning, it won't be as easy as the Jeep SRT. So, while Dave is thinking about about this, he was looking for feedback for those that think that this is worth doing? What would you like to see, drain plug boss (or drilled, tapped & plugged), boss for temp sensor, cooling fins or more capacity?

    1) 6.1 Diff Cover (215mm)
    2) 5.7 Diff Cover (210mm)
    3) LX Trans Pan

Hes going to have a ruff time with making a deeper tranny pan, thats for sure.As for a drain plug all one would need to do is buy the Benz pan as it has a drain plug in it already,Not to mention from what I hear a tap for a guage wouldnt be very accurate.

It looks like the pan would be easier to do than the rear diff cover
