I don't think so... multiple failures there. Rear started to kick out to the right just a bit so he over steered (a little) to the right. At the same time he let off the gas so the back end snapped back into line. Now he's hooked up and pointing to the right. Then he over steers (more this time) to the left and got back in the gas at the same time. massive response from that.
That's exactly what you'd want to do to start a drift into a corner... but there wasn't any corner there.

Some people just should never be allowed to drive a high HP ride. He made every mistake in the book right there.

    What part of it?
That he went into the deeper ditch on the left instead of the right.
Or that he managed to land it perfectly on the roof instead of the side.
Or that the rear window didn't have a scratch.

I think he could manage all the rest of it every time

Gah!! Truck abuse!! Die die die!!

Now that I've calmed down a tad...

Ok, why do this on a pothole filled road? Next, if you feel yourself losing traction, get your damn feet off the pedals. Also, if you don't want to hit the tree, don't LOOK at the tree. Moron. Should stick to driving crapboxes and stop abusing Mopars.

I've been visiting lxforums to check interest in my DashDAQ sale ... and my regard for the general membership continues to decline. This thread is running over there too.

nice comment Dave...On the video...I bet that wasn't even his vehicle...prolly Daddy's, wonder if he made it out the hospital yet from having a size 10 shoved up his ass. Epic fail if their ever was one.

I wondered the first time and then watched it a bunch more, and I'm still wondering whether it could have been the camera man's... probably not, but possible :flowers: Also interesting that people manage to keep shooting in these situations. I would have expected to see bouncy footage of the road as he ran to pull the guy from the burning wreckage :)

It doesn't appear that he had a seat belt on either, watch the beginning and pause when you can see him... It probably saved his life or from serious injury. Look at the drivers side cab opening versus passenger side where he go out the window so quickly. Not having a belt on threw him to that side. Lucky i guess.
