Saw it in the new issue of mopar action magazine today. Supercharged 5.7 with 500 hp stock Info/articles... http://www.moparaction.com/Article/Super_Truck/Super_Truck.html http://www.pickuptruck.com/html/autoshows/sema2007/chrysler/mrnorm/page1.html
Ok, fixed the link that was supposed to go to an article but went to the picture posted. Most interesting part I like about the truck..... SUPERCHARGER KIT Manufacturer: Kenne Bell Performance Products Model: Big Bore Twin Screw Supercharger Displacement: 2.6 Liters
Yeah, ther eis speculation though because appearantly KB wasn't going to release the s/c kit because of the lack or tunning on the trucks, but then that comes out. If they do have a KB setup for the trucks, I will be all over it, it's what I'm waiting for.
That's purdy, but I'm way partial to oil burners when it comes to trucks... You can get the same HP and about 30% or so more torque from a diesel with a couple of mods (tuner/intake/exhaust). Tow all day and get bitchin' mileage too! Matty
http://www.mrnorms.com/news/news.html I forsee transmission issues as the 5.7 has ZERO forged parts, piston failure and rear end disentergrating. You would need to beef if up with forged pushrods, pistons, toner ring. A beefed up Shardson tranny and an SRT10 rear end then I would buy it. It's all a scam anyway if you call KB they will tell you they gave up on that SC for the Hemi Ram even though this one claims to be running which there is no KB tune for the Dodge Ram, stuff like this pisses me off and should never be published, BUYER BEWARE!!!!
