1st off I am going to say I will probably NEVER ever ever let anyone drive my car with my air filter off (filter on 5-6 psi... filter off 18 psi).

I took the car out last night to check some things I have been working on and was going to do some WOT runs to see the A/F cause it's really rich and I wanted to fine tune the methanol.

So I go the back way out my neighborhood and onto a country road which at 8 p.m. is deserted. I am going about 30 MPH and go WOT and as would be expected the car leaves a nice set of burn marks for 50 or so feet as it accelerates. Like usual I am watching the road and checking out my gauges to see where my A/F is and I only look at the gauge once the car is going in a straight line (I normally would datalog this but I couldn't find the cord to hook it all up tonight).

Anyway I do the same thing a little down the road from about 60 and well about 3 seconds after I go WOT I notice the car is pushing to the right a little.... :help: I slowly feather the petal off so as to NOT just completely let off and snap the car in another direction and I was like :censored: :censored: . If I wouldn't of been paying as good of attention to the road I would of been in the ditch... this damm car is freakin dangerous to say the least but holy hell, I have heard people say they spin the tires at 60 or 90 on Over the top builds you read about in magazines but I never thought I would be driving one let alone be about to crap my pants in one :)

So really, spinning the tires at 60 MPH.... not as cool as it sounds when you do it and leave a 100 ft burnout mark. (I guess I am going to go take some pics of it as I don't believe it myself).

Ok, story time is over, I had to get up early to let the dogs out and thought I would write this while it was fresh on my mind.

I can't think of any place honestly where I will be cruising at 90 and then have room to go WOT... Funny thing is this car will actually cruise at 90 like my truck will at 55.

No it wasn't wet out, I am not that stupid to take this car out in wet weather at anything over 1/3 throttle much less without the air filter

You got that right. I dont know about your side of the border but here in SC there is no such thing as a totally abandon country road. there is always a Highway Patrol somewhere. I think we have 4 times as many per capita than any other state

Same here with the ProCharger. When I first picked it up I didn't think it was that much faster. I hit the gas doing 55mph and felt nothing. Then I looked in the rear view mirror and saw the two black stripes being laid behind the car. Whoa! That'll wake yer' ass up in a hurry. Gotta say though, I've never had the car jump sideways. Squirm a little yes, but not sideways.

its nuts for sure, try doing it while racing a 911 side by side one time....worrying about drifting over and rubbing up against a 150k ride...now that will make your balls pull up into your stomach.

On the subject of black marks, do any of you guys squeel? Not me, never did. No sound at all, just black marks, occasionally through 3 gears sideways without a peep. And this is dry out. Wonder why no noise?
