Well its installed and running. I still havent steped into it yet, waiting on the first of probably several tune updates before I risk going to boost.Apparently the clocks at STS run a bit slower than the rest of ours. I went back to stock exhaust since the aftermarkets would no longer offer any benefit but boy is it quiet. All I have is the suitcase but I'm thinking about removing that to get some noise back. Luckily, I still have my cut-outs.

Well, after one blown engine due to poor tuning I'm still trying to get the new one running right before the turbos go back on. It has been a year long nightmare.

Man sorry to hear ... did not realize there was another Twin Turbo in the works as well.

Big AL's TT blew a motor as well due to lean conditions..along with some other associated issues.

His TT is coming along now...it up and running quite well at the track except for the launching... ( turbo lag) but be prepared for some additional gotcha's

Its all good, a forged engine is best for forced induction anyway. Yesterday, Josh from HHP gote me running they way it should so on go the turbos!

I dont have deep pockets and could not afford a engine blow, bugs me STS and Procharger state" bolt on for stock engines" then read about each of them smokin the engine........maybe i should just leave it stock. Still intrested in #'s once everything is right on your sweet ride!!

I can't speak for the STS turbo system. But with a proper tune, I still believe the Procharger at under 8 lbs. boost is reliable and relatively a safe bolt-on. Now let me go find some wood to knock on quickly.

ProCharged for 7,000 miles and counting.

Forced induction is not what blows an engine, tuning or lack of, is what blows an engine. Failure to control AFR's properly including part throttle boost, and high combustion chamber temps lead to heating the upper rings till the gap closes and pop goes the ring land.

There is a very informative sticky thread in this forum that talks about the part throttle boost dilemma.

I put over 36,000 miles on my turbocharged 06 300C, and now over 7,000 on my turbocharged 08 Jeep Grand Cherokee and never an issue.

Both running on all stock internals 5.7 Hemi's

How did you make up for part throttle? Bring your WOT threshold down?
    I am considering IEMS3

superchargers are easier to tune for than turbos as they are more linear,

Hi Howard, all tuning via iEMS3. This is Tim by the way.

Got the e-mail on the vacuum, everything sounds good.

I will be talking to Allusa tomorrow.

Thats right Tim, I didn't mean to suggest that IEMS3 brings WOT threshold down. Only that your IEMS3 offers an option where you don't have to settle for lowered WOT tables as a means to correct part throttle.
BTW, you asked about wastegate springs. If you look at the first pic of this thread you'll see one W/G in the box in the forefront, does that tell you anything about brand, springs etc?

This is my naturally aspirated, forged pistoned K-1 426...and the result of a poor tune.

I hope you get that thing running Howdee!!!
