Thanks - I got my beast back on November 2005 - as soon as Dodge open the cage and let the animals out - I snatched one right away. I have a relay on the shroud - I take its a fan relay? Has anybody bought aftermarker fan assembly? I've been loking and seen it as low as 100 dollars and 200. Are they reliable? or some item it will break down in a couple of months ? I found OEM for 411.00.
i just got mine new assembly delivered today. i have not opened it yet, but i will and will snap some shots.... as for r&r of the assembly, you have two screws at the top holding it in.... remove under belly plastic locate wire harness plug and un-plug locate and remove two mounting screws at the top/sides of the shrouding lift assembly up about 1 inch to unhook it from the lower slots that it sits in drop assembly out from under neath the car. not really to hard at all!!!
great !! my low fan died - where and how much did you pay for yours? Did your assembly came with wiring harness?
Nope. Even though my fan on/off settings are very aggressive, the OEM fan system is still functioning(!) properly.
ortiz - i will be changing mine out next weekend when i do my intercooler. i will report back and let you know!
Dues - replaced the fan assembly complete - works like a charm - the right fan motor works !!!! No more Hi temps - running around 200
