So I have gone to get my car inspected twice in the past week week and a half...both times it failed...neither time for a code...

the first time I wasn't surprised by as the system was not in "ready state" because it was jump started....ok not a problem....didnt go through the "cycles" got it...

now today...i go back in...this time i have had the Plantum Battery in there for about 3 days...I have driven the car every day for at least 40 min's...including once this morning (for a total of 4 times)...or if your keeping track like 2 and a half hours....

go in all confident....yeah im gonna pass!....

he comes out...nope still not in the "ready state"

    so....

my Diablo has nothing to keep it form being in the ready state that I know of...its just hte 93CAI tune....

so what the F do i gotta do to put this thing back in the "ready state"

You need 40 warm up cycles to achieve "ready state"....drive it for a month or so...A warm up cycle is defined as a cold start, then reach 170+ degrees.

If you turned off the rear 02 sensors it won't go to "ready" state.

Go talk to some "race shop" and tell them you need some help in getting an inspection. They will get you to the right place(s)...might cost $20 more but they will get you a new inspection sticker

Ya, if the o2 sensors are turned off via the predator, you will never reach ready status.

Im not sure if the canned tunes have that done to them by default.

Holy shit is that really how many? LOL

    that would suck....

I didnt turn them off...not sure if the 93 tune does or not...but i know that I did not turn them off....

LOL i was in Shippan motors in CT and was ABOUT to ask hiim to do it before i had the "a-ha" moment that he was not in NY haha

Guess thats the next question to have answered....

are the 02 sensors turned off on the Canned Diablo tune?
