I have an 06 Magnum SRT8, and just installed a new exhaust. Is there a way to eliminate the rev limiter that's used in park and neutral. I hate it that you can't even rev your engine.

You do not want to remove the rev limiter. It is there so you do not over rev the motor and cause serious motor failure. And yes, it will and has happened...

Don't want to remove ( I know what it's for), just raise it above where it is at. Mine will only allow me to rev the engine to about 2500 rpm's while in park or neutral, is this normal.

Might be a bit higher than 2500, thats just what it seems like. 4k is probably right.

I tried reving it up slowly (to compensate for tach lag), and it over revs at about 3500. So it is a bit lower than usual. I will eventually re tune it. I guess it will have to wait until then. Thanks for your help.
