Has anyone else noticed that Napa has lowered their prices? I hope its not just my store. Here is some of what I bought last night. Napa Gold (Wix) oil filters, used to be $10.XX each, now $6.99 Zerex G-05 coolant, used to be $14.XX/gallon, now $9.69/gallon Napa ATF+4 $4.06/qt, the shitty stuff at Wal-Mart is $3.80! Looks like they're getting competitive in this down economy.
They need too...I like our local NAPA store mainly because I can get waited on....we have 2 Advance Autos and 1 Auto Zone.........if I go into either one I have to wait and wait to get rung up...they never have enough help...usually just 2 counter guys......... NAPA on the other hand always has 4-5 people working. I never have to wait and if I have a question they are right on it....They are higher but will meet the other store prices if you tell them.
anything i buy locally is bought from NAPA....my buddy is the store manager though.... pretty sweet cause I never pay for car wash supplies hahaha but since napa bought the chain of stores he works for...they have gotten WAY better....so NAPA gets a good grade in my book
I don't mind the extra coin either. It's the only place left where you can bring in a part and if they can't look it up, will still see what else they have that fits. It drives me fucking crazy going somewhere and if you can't give them a year/model/make, they can't do shit for you.
you should get the whole sale account at napa the have whole sale accounts there and it could save you money at least 200 a year that what its been avraging out to for me, i would go ask them if they do that at your store
yeah, i hate it when you go in because you need a supercharger coolant hose for a srt8 and they tell you srt8's don't have superchargers. lol
Hell - the butt heads don't even know what an SRT8 is I've always found that NAPA has walk in prices (bend over) and better prices for the TRADE, or accounts at garages and the like - that's why I try to avoid them, and around here their counter guys have an attitude if they dion't know you
