Man have I missed driving my Jeep, it seemed like it was taking forever and then bam its done and I am driving it home. Lets see if I can remember everything 426 Arrington Short Block Mondello Stage Three Heads Mondello 426 Cam Ported/Coated Intake Arrington 90mm Cast Nitros Ported TB (None planned for now) Injectors Kooks LT’s w/High Flow Cats B&B Cat Back Afe Intake ATI Dampner Paramount Valve Body & Flexplate Also picked up the Billet-tech Z mount and a couple other under hood pieces Still have to get it tuned and the motor broken in so the track will have to wait for now. A lot of thanks to Steve/Sarge for all his help with this, he put a lot in to get this done. I taking it easy on it as I want to break it in right, but I can tell this think is just waiting to go and it sounds so sick. I getting tons of head turns, even had the girl at a drive thru all like “I like you car, I have the nitro so kinda the same familyâ€. I was surprised she even knew that and wonder if she “really†knew what I was driving. I can already tell that this thing is a monster
Congrats, definately get those hoses hooked up to your catch can ASAP to keep that junk out of your new motor
Congratz for sure,So who did your install. And being your in S Fl you should go see Johan for your tune.Let meknow if you need his number.
Congrats, and quit wasting video time and typing...go out and drive...get that thing broke in so you can rrrrrriiip into her!! Promised to make you smile for a while.
A little off the map around here but I went with Lujan Motorsports, Willie is a good guy to deal with. A man of his word. As far as tuning I Considered that or AJ, but seeing as this is pretty much a mirror of Sarges Jeep I'm just going to use his tune as a base and do a little data logging to get it dialed in. Well unfortunately I don't have headlamps, still at a vendors shop till today I HOPE! So I'm a little limited till I get those in tomorrow but after that I'll be cruising around a bit.
Hard to say as I did this as a complete deal, the fact that I have increased the displacement of the engine will cause it to produce more heat. At idle it will stay at 184 but with a little gas the temp will go up faster than the 6.1 but within reason. I really haven't put it thru the paces yet though.
