So, budget of $5,000 max. The cheaper, the better. Need something that get's over 25 MPG combined. I am 6 foot 6, so I need something big(ger). Example: Dodge Neon, too small. Toyota Camry: Good. It needs to have less then 75-80K miles. So, help me out here, please! I live in Hayward, CA (94544)!!!
Check out a PT Cruiser... I am 6'3" and fit fine, but then I also love my Neon. :rofl: IDK if you will get 25 MPG combined, though. My wife gets around 17 mpg with hers, mostly street, we can easily get 25+ MPG on the highway. She does have the turbo'd GT version with the auto, so if you find a manual trans, or an non-turbo you might even get better MPG. However, I hear the non-turbos can be a bit of a dog, power wise.

If you weren't in Cali and needed something for the winters as well, I'd have recommended a Grand Cherokee. Look at an 04 Intrepid RT. I loved mine and the 3.5 was really reliable for me.
