For the last 2.5 years we have truly enjoyed Andy’s commitment to customers, his enthusiasm for performance products and his passion for Power Ported. As with any passion, this comes with a price and in Andy’s case that has been time for his relationship with his wife and family, and the ability to disconnect from the job on weekends and evenings. Many customers have benefitted from Andy’s over-availability in off hours. We have appreciated his dedication, but he recognizes that it is time for him to make a change in his life in order to spend more time with his wife and to focus on his own sense of well being. He has accepted a position outside of the performance industry that will allow him regular time off in order to focus on what is important right now in his life. This Friday will be Andy’s last day at Power Ported. He has not just been a part of Power Ported, but also a part of our extended family and a dear friend. We will miss him greatly, but know based upon the many discussions we have had with Andy that this is the right thing for Andy to do. With Andy’s absence, Justin (also in sales) has some big shoes to fill as all of Andy’s customers are transitioned over to him, but Justin has done a phenomenal job since starting 10 weeks ago and is already passing Andy in turning prospective buyers into Power Ported customers. Justin’s knowledge of the new HEMI performance market is extensive and will allow him to make reliable recommendations to customers based upon our years of successful experience in this market. We want to assure our customers and future customers that Power Ported will continue to be dedicated to delivering the highest quality parts and customer service. What else is new at Power Ported Some people have recently questioned our Head production capability. Our Head manufacturing went through a change in organization, but all Power Ported head assembly is secure with the same individuals that have always done our Heads; they are just operating under a new name. We will continue to deliver and carry our current Cylinder Head options and all assembly moving forward will be under the new company. We are in process of updating our websites look and design and will be adding new features and products across a wide range of vehicles. This is currently happening over the next 90 days and we will be updating the forums as new products and feature become available for you to choose from. We are also refreshing our computer servers and systems with new operating systems and software over the next 30 days that will allow us to track orders from sale to delivery; effectively increasing our customer satisfaction levels with more accurate order updates and turnaround times. New software is also being implemented on our workstation laptops that will allow us to quote products quickly and with accuracy and also track customer interactions through our customer relationship management software. Although we want to wish Andy all the best in his new career and we know he will be successful; we also want to let the community know that this is also an exciting time of change for Power Ported that will make our customers experience with Power Ported and our products even better. We look forward to speaking with you about your performance goals and if you have any questions, please contact us.
Best wishes to you Andy and to those staying with PPP. Looking forward to an updated website and other changes.
Best of luck to Andy and his family on whatever path life may take them. Andy has been a great asset to PPP, and I am sure they will continue to do well, and make some of the best products on the market. Best wishes to you all!
