I've asked three different times now, and gotten no answer. What are these driveshaft loops? And how do they benefit? Will it do us boys with the DSS axles any good?
The DS Loop is exactly as it is called. It is a ring is a safety piece that, in the event the drive shaft snaps, prevents the DS from falling to the ground and torpedoing your car end over end.
It is very impressive!. Chase, the loop mounts on the back of the tranmission and does ^^^ and also keeps it from coming through the bottom of the car too. Not like that's happened yet, but ya never know. It is required by NHRA for cars running faster than 11.5 or on any car running slicks.
