The outside. Same pic where you put the clamp. Looks like a rear view of a girl wearing a thong. Can you make it perfectly flat and smooth so you can't see the weld at all or would that compromise it?

Good point. The people buying those probably aren't going to be hearing their intakes anyway. My car is stock so I knew the Mopar CAI wasn't going to do much performance wise but I new it would look cool. Then when I bought it, it was worth every penny for the sound. In the cabin it's about the same as the Mopar exhaust I added later. The AFE II that came after was a good bit quieter. I think most of the sound come out the pipe at the filter. With yours being down in the fender it probably won't sound much different than the stock box from inside the cabin. I expect you'll be able to hear it outside of the car though.

Dave, I think I answered your question up a couple posts. I can't honestly say if you can hear it or not. My hearing is shot and everything about the car is just plain loud.

Killer!, tell Cindy she gets the couch tonight, I'm heading over baby.

I heard you the first time. I was just speculating .

I think you should have some sort of price break for us guys that don't need one of those but really want one anyway. How about this? If you haven't had any work done to your engine at all you can get a 40% discount. I think that would be great! You can use the left over paint from Chase's on mine.

cam - very nice brother!!! although the welding looks pretty nice to me, could you utilize a body filler to blend the welds out instead of having to build up more in the inside??? just kinda "fill" the weld seams on the outside and smooth it all in??? just a thought, albeit a time consuming one!!! lol

There is no doubt in my mind that the scrap bin will hold value to someone,

Thanks and ya, there's a dozen projects coming up. One at a time brudder.

Welp, one litle problem Chris. These are all metal, no filler. Everything is powder coated. The only way for me to smooth that fitting is to lead it. Which I'm not up for. I worked as a millwright in a battery plant many moons ago. My areas were "ball mill", where they ground down the lead pigs to make the paste that covers the anode and cathode plates, casting where they melted down the lead to make the plates and pasting, were they applied the paste material and baked it onto the plate.

Long story short, I ended up with lead posioning. I'm a little sensitive to it now a days.

Like dis??. Ya man, that'd work.

errrrrrrrrrrrrrr, hold dis thanks Jay

Thanks Daniel!. They are but for right now it's only the LX/LC platform. But, I just happen to have a Jeep in the shop and if I get time later this week, I will start on a mock up system. I think I have something that will work with only a modification to the fan shroud. But I need to dig a little deeper and see what we can do.

Mario the only thing stopping you would be your wallet......if you want it I say get it!I am sure Cam would be happy to sell you one,I am sure your new motor would love it.I can get your intake machined as well if you get a 90mm TB to go with it.
