Umm Andy, how can you make a statement that PI is the best when you have had 10 out of 65 go bad?

I believe that this is a matter of opinion on which is the best. Yea, you can come back with this guy removed this TC and put this other TC in and improved his track time by .4 tenths in hot weather... That does not prove that one TC is any better than another...

I'm not saying, just saying. ;)

Glad to hear you're gettingt that dealt with. In this case you're dealing with someone who knows enough about these things to properly diagnose them by elimination and facts and get you on the right track, rather than send you a pound of penicillin for a broken wrist.

Still no contact from Jack today. Fuckin tird. I'm SEVERELY disappointed to say the least. If I don't hear from Jack by the end of the week, I'll be buying a ProTorque from Eddie on Monday. Tired of dealing with fuckers who can't find the simplest form of follow through, sick and tired of it.

unfortunetly you have joined a very shitty club to be in, Chase.

I say screw them and buy from Eddie tomorrow. At least then you will be in great hands.

Sorry for your troubles Chase. I feel your pain and disgust.

So, did you buy from PI directly or through a vendor? I ask because if it were through a vendor, then the vendor should be making good by you and they should do the dirty work through PI. JMHO...

Bought the converter thru Andy. He's trying to help, but I don't think he's spoken to Jack yet either. If he has, he hasn't told me. Either way, NOBODY has followed up with me. I just want a simple answer. One. Single. Fuckin. Answer. Why can't SOMEBODY pick up the phone, and say either: "We have a new converter headed your way, it will be there in a few days." or "Fuck you, stop calling us." THAT'S ALL I WANT TO KNOW!!!! As a business owner, I don't understand how people just push customers aside like this???? It honestly kills me.......

One thing I have always believed is products are only as good as the service after you've spent your money. With high performance after market parts all over the place and the re engineering of stock parts there will always be some problems....

For me it's always been what the company does and how they treat you when there are problems with there products that you have purchased.

It sounds like SHR is going to make sure you are fixed right and that's all we can ask of any vendor... I know the extra money spent and hassle of it all is a PITA but these things do happen when modding and can be expected at times.

    Sucks to hear though.......:stars:

Ya know....you only tell half the story there. The reason UJokin and Flybyu are changing the converter out was not because of a quality issue....it was for a higher stall that ProTorque didn't offer. After the miles and amount of passes that both of those cars put down I don't think anyone can say they were a bad converter.

thanks for the clarification erik...... one of the reasons why i went with a protorque was it seems to have proven itself over and over........ that and builder bill gave me a great deal!!! lol

I talked to Jack today from PI. Turns out, they WERE on vacation all week last week!!! So I acted like a little bitch for no reason. Jack stood up and took good care of me today. Said they've had a few problems with some recent conveters, but they've remedied those small issues with quality control. So he sent me out a twin plate 3200 stall converter, overnight today. So it'll be at the shop tomorrow. Hopefully by the end of the week, I'll be up and running again!! Thanks Jack!!
