Stock thermostat

    What temperature are the stock thermostats designed to open at? I'm thinking about getting a lower temp one because my temps are always at 200 or a little above.

    IDK what temp they are set for, but that's sounds about right where my car runs at.

    well... the SRT8s come with a 193* t-stat. Low speed fans come on at 210 and high speed fans come on at 220.

    I have no clue about the SRT4s but I couldn't help myself from telling you that :rofl: I wonder if they're the same?

    I got a 180 from napa and some new coolant thanks

    hmmm.... my srt8 is always above 200.. I think it stays at 210. Wonder if I need to install a lower Tstat.

    get a 180* and a diablosport and reprogram the pcm for the new t-statand i dont have the fan mod and my car doesnt go anyhigher than 185*

    Whats the best way to drain my coolant? Is there a drain plug or do i just take off the hose?
