Cool, post up some pictures and prices. Have you thought about something for the LX's? such as a Ford 8.8?

And for the SRT8 300's, Chargers, Magnums, and Challengers? We really need something affordable. With the Quaife and HD Halfshafts, its about $4,000.00 and it's still marginal. And theres a ton more of those that the GC's

    8.8" Housing Pros and Cons

    8.8" Housings

    CONS
    1. Housings and tubes are weaker then OEM SRT-8 Jeep Super 44.
    2. OEM axles are C-clip type. Using small dia. cylindrical bearings rated +/- 1800# that will not make tech inspection at most tracks on vehicles under certian ET:s (check your local track). - Our 9" uses 3800# rated Timken Tapered Brearings.
    3. Need brackets taken off of Oem SRT-8 cores to adapt to Oem Jeep suspension.
    4. 8.8" is limited to 31 spline Max.
    5. 8.8 Axles need to be redrilled to 5 on 5" bolt pattern.

    PROS
    1. Can use 3.73 Ring and pinon.
    2. Easier and cheaper to find then building New 9"?

Hal was actually asking about an 8.8 for the LX platform (300, Charger, Magnum, and the LC platform in the Challenger). lol

Don't mind big daddy as us LX guys are not used to the Jeeps getting a first of something. hahaha

Great job on your 9". That will be a tremendous addition to any GC.
